Bringing the magic of books and reading to children across Canada
Dedicated to championing children’s literacy, TD Canadian Children’s Book Week is an important event celebrating Canadian children’s books and reading. This week-long event features 30 children’s authors, illustrators and storytellers touring Canada to engage in 400 reading activities with over 28,000 children and their families. Hundreds of schools, public libraries, bookstores and community centres also host events as part of this annual children’s literary festival.
Book Week 2018 marks the festival’s 41st year and TD’s 22nd year as the presenting sponsor. It will be taking place May 5-12, 2018 and is organized by the Canadian Children’s Book Centre. Discover a reading event near you!
